Why Families Love Golden Retrievers

Golden Retrievers are widely loved for their affectionate nature, loyalty, and gentle demeanor. While we might be a little biased, we truly believe there’s no love quite like Golden Retriever love.

Golden Retrievers are known for:

Deep devotion to their families
Gentle, patient personalities
Intelligence and eagerness to please
Being wonderful companions for all ages

Yes, they leave plenty of hair behind—but that’s just part of their charm. These dogs have a way of filling a home with love and joy like no other.

About Our Golden Retrievers

All of our Golden Retriever parents:

Have OFA hip testing completed
Have genetic testing completed
Are selected carefully for health and temperament

Breeding healthy, well-structured, and loving Golden Retrievers is incredibly important to us, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Reviews from our Customer Families

We found Golden Acres after searching for over a year. We now have our new Goldendoodle Finnegan. He just turned four months old and he is just a dream come true! I truly recommend Golden acres to anyone that wants a healthy, and happy puppy. He can sit, stay, shake paw and roll over! He does pretty good on our daily walks too! (Those leaves are just a little to tempting in the country). We are working on learning to bow! Thank you for an amazing puppy! We love him!

Have you ever desired a near perfect breed combined with an expert breeder offering even a 5 start trainer to ensure you and your new doodle is perfectly set up for your family?! Seriously look no further. We couldn’t be happier. With a daughter having significant allergies, Liz was willing to “shirt test” and answer all our concerns so we would receive a well trained and hypoallergenic puppy perfectly suited to our family’s needs. Would certainly recommend 100% of the time!

I went to Golden Acres a little over 3 years ago to get a puppy and little did I know I was picking up my new best friend. They were always prompt with answering any questions I had, through with their answers and made the pick up process so smooth. Tucker has been the best dog and everyone loves him. I would highly recommend any puppy from Golden Acres!
